The Tettenhall College Senior School squash team played out of their skins to beat Wrekin College 4-2 at home on Wednesday. Everyone raised their game against a physical Wrekin side. Tyson Mills came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Chas Parker narrowly lost 3-2 from being 2-0 down. Solomon Shahar outfoxed his opponent winning 3-0 and Finlay Mayer played his best match to date. He just lost 3-2 against a very skilled player. The man of the match was a tie between Stefan Dumitrache and Anish Nicolas. They kept their discipline and focus to win 3-0 respectively. Well done to all the team – it’s encouraging to see how much they have improved. It could quite easily have been a 6-0 win. A fantastic start for 2020.
