Students at Tettenhall College are celebrating their A Level results with many progressing to universities across the UK and internationally, while others are embarking on highly competitive apprenticeships and exciting career opportunities.
Leading the way with 5 A*s in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Extended Project Qualification is Binh. His excellent performance will now see him progress to the world-leading university Imperial College, London to study for a degree in Computing.
Head Boy Junayd achieved A in Maths, A in Chemistry and B in Biology and will be pursuing medicine.
Across the cohort, students have secured excellent outcomes. Head Girl Deborah, will read for a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree, whilst Sahana will pursue a degree in Economics, both at the University of Southampton. Cameron will be joining the Royal Navy on an accelerated Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Aerospace Engineering.
Other superb destinations include University College, London for a Data, Information & Society degree, University of Exeter for Biomedical Engineering and Aberystwyth University for Veterinary Biosciences.
Headmaster Mr Justin Gomersall was thrilled to spend the morning with students and staff as they celebrated with their families. He said ‘It has been a pleasure to see our students, who have worked incredibly hard over the past two years, celebrate their fantastic achievements today alongside their families and teachers. We are immensely proud of everything they have accomplished.
Whether they are progressing to university to pursuing an apprenticeship or entering the world of work, we wish every one of them every success and happiness for the future.”
