Open Days & Admissions Events

Our Open Days are a perfect way to come and see the School and our facilities as well as meet our staff and pupils. You will be shown around the school by our pupils and there is plenty of opportunity for you and your child to interact with members of staff and find out more about the subjects and the extra-curricular activities that we offer.

The next Whole School Open Day will be on Saturday 28th September 2024.  The event will take place between 9.30am and 12.45pm.

This will be an interactive day with a chance to try many hands on experiences of life here at Tettenhall College. For our youngest visitors to our Nursery and Preparatory School there will be fun Art Attack sessions, Maths Mastery, a magical Woodland Trail, Creative Writing workshops and much much more.

For those pupils considering the significant move into Senior School and Sixth Form, there will be a range of dynamic ‘Taster’ lessons for children and parents to take part in together, Performing Arts & Music experiences, hands on sports opportunities, and a wealth of other activities which we hope will give a real sense of life with us here at Tettenhall College.

It’s very important that places are booked well in advance for this exciting event, so please do book with our Admissions Team as soon as possible. We also hope you will be able to stay and enjoy lunch with us, alongside the Headmaster, our leadership team and many of our experienced teachers.

Registration for the event is essential, to book your place click here.

Taster Days

The next step on the admissions journey is for your child to join us for a Taster Day. This gives them the opportunity to experience a typical day at Tettenhall College, take part in lessons and meet the other children in their year group. For those little ones hoping to start their learning journey in our Nursery, we arrange for a Welcome session were a ‘play date’ allows them to come and join us whilst their parents can spend time with the experienced team who will be taking very special care of their child.

The taster day is a really important part of the admissions journey and we can arrange these to suit your needs depending on when your child is starting with us.

“Thank you for the opportunity to have a look around. Obviously the school has changed considerably since my day and we were impressed by the new facilities, the openness of the staff that we met and the enthusiasm of the pupils.”

“Parents and pupils were overwhelmingly supportive of the school, with many parents saying that they would recommend the school to others and the pupils affirming that they like being at the school.”
