At Tettenhall College, food is more than just a meal – it is a vital part of our pupils’ well-being and daily experience. As a boarding school our kitchens are very busy, serving freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Our dedicated team of chefs freshly prepare tasty, nutritious and balanced meals using fresh ingredients each day. At lunchtime, pupils can choose from a range of options, both hot and cold – a main course and have with it their choice of soup and fresh bread, salad bar options, dessert, along with a drink from our fresh water and juice dispensers.
We are proud to cater for the widest range of allergies and intolerances, with our kitchen team liaising closely with our onsite nursing team, ensuring we offer the best options we can. We also offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, and coeliac friendly food, along with other options if needed.
Exciting menus
Our menus are refreshed every term and follow a three-week rotation to offer variety but also for pupils to enjoy favourite meals. Throughout the year we have special events such as international cuisine days, themed meals, and festive occasions like Christmas Dinner – keeping mealtimes exciting, social, and something to look forward to.
