TC Pupils Soar to Stardom in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Posted: 13th November 2023

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Between the 7th-11th November, five Tettenhall College pupils performed as members of Bilston Operatic Company in their run of the classic, much-loved tale of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. Lucy (Year 11), Ava-Rose and Harry (Year 9) and Harvey (Year 6) demonstrated their ’teamwork’ within the ensemble as they defeated the evil Child Catcher, whilst Daniel in Year 6 took a starring role as Jeremy, the son of inventor Caractatus Potts.
Performing on stafe at Wolverhampton Grand Theat
Performing on stage at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, the show played to packed houses every night and our pupils shone with enthusiasm, energy and their abundance in talent – what great ambassadors for Tettenhall College! It was a proud moment for Mr Howard conducting them from the orchestra pit. The whole of Preparatory School enjoyed the Wednesday matinee and another audience member contacted to praise their exemplary behaviour in their support of the cast. Huge congratulations for all involved and we hope you have made many happy memories from this show.
