Soap Gets Young Entrepreneurs To Area Finals

Posted: 5th April 2019

Budding Tettenhall College entrepreneurs have qualified for the Black Country Area Finals of the 2019 Young Enterprise Programme, to be held at Wolverhampton University in May.

The Young Enterprise programme is a national competition designed to teach pupil about business and entrepreneurship. This year’s team ‘Soaprize’ came up with the idea of soap that is fun for children with the idea that this would promote health in young children by encouraging youngsters to wash their hands more. The unique selling point is that the soap has a surprise in it. The team produces all the soap using a handmade production process and during the process they insert a toy into the middle of the soap. The child then wants to wash their hands to reach the toy. On the 16th of March they attended their first trade fair in Stourbridge with great success, completely selling out of soap in just two hours and achieving an overall second place for the trade fair. With more custom than we can supply it is clear that the company has a winning product on its hands. If you want to join our waiting list of customers and make the chore of washing fun for your child the soap can be purchased from school or getting in touch with the team at the following address.
