From the age of two, your child can begin their education in our beautiful 33-acre campus, in small familiar groups, with the same school they could still be part of at the age of eighteen.
A nursery inside a school, not beside one
Most nurseries hand children on at four. Ours does not. We are a through school meaning children who join our Nursery (Adventurers) at two move into Pre-School (Explorers), then into Reception, then up through the Prep School all without changing premises, set of friends and uniform. The staff who will teach your child as they progress through Prep School already know them in Nursery. That continuity is the single biggest difference between us and a standalone setting, and it is the reason most of our families choose us.
Where your child fits
Nursery welcomes children from their second birthday. Pre-School begins in the September following their third birthday. Reception begins in the September following their fourth. Children move between them as they are ready, within the same building and the same familiar faces.
What a place here includes
- 33 acres of grounds and 11 acres of woodland, used daily in all weathers
- Weekly swimming lessons in our own indoor pool from Pre-School
- Freshly cooked lunch on-site in the College dining room (Pre-School) and in their classroom (Nursery)
- Small groups and a settled, familiar staff team
- Breakfast Club available from 7:30am and teatime/ late creche at the end of the day
- Flexible sessions from a minimum of two full days and one half day
- The use of brilliant facilities across the whole including our Victorian theatre, school library, art room, music room, sports pitches and woodlands
