Join us for The Annual Old Tettenhallian’s Lecture – Coding: The 21st Century’s Most Valuable Skill.

Simon Monk is best known for his books on programming the Raspberry Pi computer and the Arduino microcontroller and has sold has sold over 750,000 books in 10 languages.
Simon has a doctorate in Software Engineering and worked in the software industry for many years before switching from writing code to writing books. He has written over 25 titles on software and electronics.Simon left TC in 1983 to go to Reading and then Lancaster University. He lives near Preston in Lancashire with his wife Linda who runs MonkMakes Ltd a small business manufacturing educational electronics kits that are sold around the world.
