Step into the heart of Tettenhall College and experience a day designed to inspire, excite and inform. Our Open Day is your opportunity to explore our beautiful 33-acre campus, our wonderful facilities and our vibrant community.
You’ll enjoy a guided tour by our pupils, meet our passionate teachers and get a real taste of the academic and co-curricular opportunities that make life at Tettenhall College so unique. Our Open Days are more than just a visit – it’s a hands-on interactive experience.
For our youngest visitors to our Nursery and Preparatory School, there will be fun interactive activities ranging from art attack sessions to magical woodland trails, from creative writing to maths mystery and so much more.
For pupils considering the significant move to Senior School or Sixth Form, they will experience engaging taster lessons alongside subject specialists, lively performing arts & music sessions, sports tasters in our impressive sports facilities plus many more immersive activities designed to give a glimpse of school life.
At the end of the day, we invite all families to stay and enjoy lunch with us, alongside the Headmaster, leadership team and many of our teachers.

Year 7 – 9 Entrance Assessment
For pupils looking to join Tettenhall College in Years 7, 8 or 9 they will be invited to attend the College Entrance Assessment in the January prior to entry the following September.
For pupils joining the College from outside the UK, please speak to our Admissions Team who will be happy to explain how we complete the assessments remotely.
It is essential that all pupils are registered for the assessments in advance. For families who wish to make a later application, a private assessment may be possible.

Reception Class Taster Sessions
Taster Sessions for all those children who are looking to join Reception class in September 2025. These 2.5 hour sessions will be the perfect opportunity for your little one to spend time with our experienced team, our current pre-school children who will be in their class next year, and to have time in our classrooms and learning areas. Children are warmly invited to join us for as many of these sessions as they would like, to help ensure they feel comfortable and familiar here at Tettenhall College, and to make their September start as exciting as possible.

Individual Tours
We encourage everyone to come in and see Tettenhall College first-hand and we are delighted to arrange individual tours for families during the School day. Wherever possible, the Headmaster will be pleased to have an informal meeting with you and your child. An individual tour is a great way to experience the happy and welcoming atmosphere at Tettenhall College and meet our expert teachers and wonderful pupils.

Taster Days
The next step on the admissions journey is for your child to join us for a Taster Day. This gives them the opportunity to experience a typical day at Tettenhall College, take part in lessons and meet the other children in their year group. For those little ones hoping to start their learning journey in our Nursery, we arrange for a Welcome session were a ‘play date’ allows them to come and join us whilst their parents can spend time with the experienced team who will be taking very special care of their child.
The taster day is a really important part of the admissions journey and we can arrange these to suit your needs depending on when your child is starting with us.
