Last Saturday, the Joint TC Choir, made up of 45 pupils from Years 3 to 13, proudly represented Tettenhall College at the Dudley Festival of Music, which this year was held at Wolverhampton Grammar School.
The choir delivered an impressive performance, appearing immaculate and singing with great enthusiasm and confidence throughout their programme. Their dedication and musicality were evident in their choral performances, which demonstrated strong teamwork and excellent part-singing.
The adjudicators praised the choir for their warm, expressive communication and convincing part-singing, awarding the group an outstanding 84% for their performance.
This excellent result secured the choir First Prize and the festival trophy for the second year in a row, a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment of the pupils and staff involved.
The event was also well supported by families from the Tettenhall College community, with a large group of parents in attendance to cheer on the choir. Their encouragement and support contributed to a wonderful atmosphere on the day.
Congratulations to all of the pupils who took part for representing the College so brilliantly and continuing the strong tradition of musical excellence at Tettenhall College.
