Open Day

West Side Story Announcement

Posted: 19th March 2020

In light of the ever changing circumstances we all find ourselves in and the key Government decision to close UK schools at the end of the school day tomorrow for all except ‘key worker’ and ‘vulnerable’ families – we have needed to make the extremely difficult decision to postpone our School production of ‘West Side Story’, until further notice.

Staff members and cast members have dedicated many hours, as always, rehearsing for this key highlight in our school’s performing arts calendar. We wanted to make sure that the Performing Arts and Music departments had the opportunity to speak to the cast members initially today, to thank them for their passion and dedication and that we will look to more suitable dates, when we are through the circumstances we all find ourselves in today. ‘The show must go on’ – be it, at a later date…

The production will, undoubtedly, be a huge success and we all look forward to enjoying the performances when we have the opportunity to communicate the new dates in the near future.

If you have already purchased tickets, please rest assured that your seats will be securely booked for the same rescheduled evening. If the re-scheduled date does not fit with your availability – please kindly advise us at this time and we will endeavour to change your booking to an alternative evening. Alternatively, look to fully refund your ticket purchase.
