Soaprize Entrepreneurs Triumph

Posted: 24th May 2019

The clock has turned and time of year arrived for us to wind up our little Young Enterprise company ‘Soaprize’. The competition over and our journey complete. What a journey it has been though! From almost giving up just after Christmas, when our original ideas proved impossible to deliver. To being reborn again in January as Soaprize. The team overcame challenges of product innovation, marketing and selling, public speaking and how to cope with the complexities of financial accounting. Through it all they pulled together and never gave up. This saw our company qualify for the area final when many other larger teams failed to do so. The final was held at the University of Wolverhampton and our team walked home with two wonderful trophies one for being a finalist, but the one we are most proud of is the trophy for being the company with the best teamwork in the Black Country Area. So it is goodbye from Soaprize and as we take our final bow we would like to thank everyone who supported us, but most of all our customers, as without their patronage we would not have had the confidence to achieve all that we have. If you find a bar of soap with a toy in the future, well that really would be a Soaprize. Oh and please let us know who is infringing our patent.
