Year 4-6 pupils represented Tettenhall College in the 2018/19 ISA Midlands Regional Championship at Walsall Baths. The school sent a strong squad of swimmers, with the children producing some superb results in their events. The Year 6 boys were the biggest winners of the day, seeing off all competitors with ease in both the freestyle and medley relays.

As a result, they have been crowned ISA Midland Swimming Champions (U12 Boys). Huge congratulations to Charlie Welch, Oscar Ward, Sammy McDonnell and Ben Jones on their achievement. And well done to all swimmers for their excellent performance and effort – coming 3rd overall out of 28 schools: a super outcome!

Head of Sport, James Bullock comments: “We have a number of impressive swimming squads emerging at Tettenhall College who train in our own pool at the School and play significant roles in local swimming clubs. The mixed squad performed exceptionally well at the Midlands Championships and we were delighted for our boys to be crowned U12 Midland Champions!”.
