As Sixth Form students embrace independence, they’ll take on more responsibilities in academics and school life. At Tettenhall College we believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow and our Prefects Team exemplifies this commitment. Being elected to the Prefect Team is considered an honor, with pupils selected for their exceptional character, outstanding academic achievements, and dedication to serving their peers and the school community. The Senior Management Team conducts a rigorous selection process to choose the team members.
The Prefect Team serve as role models for the whole school and play a vital role in mentoring younger pupils. They are an inspiration for their peers and contribute to the overall success of our school. They lead by example and play a pivotal role in maintaining the school’s ethos and core values.
A Prefect’s role is to strive to be a role model whom people can admire. All pupils frequently see them around the school. The commitment and contribution of our Prefects is a crucial part of life at Tettenhall College. The roles and responsibilities are very diverse from meeting perspective parents and pupils to manning the lunch queue, speaking at events to assisting teachers, representing the student voice to senior management to organising events the duties make a real difference to the running and success of the school.
