DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Tettenhall College Firework Display – Friday 6th November 2026\nGet ready for a fantastic evening of family-friendly entertainment\, spectacular fireworks and community fun as Tettenhall College proudly presents its annual Firework Display! \nSpectacular fireworks – Watch the night sky come alive with vibrant colours and stunning displays choreographed to music. \nFood and drinks – Enjoy a delicious selection of treats from our food vendors\, along with a range of hot and cold drinks to keep everyone refreshed throughout the evening. \nFestive Stalls – Browse a variety of stalls offering festive items and winter essentials\, including a stall dedicated to cosy winter hats. \nChildren’s Fairground Rides – There will be a selection of fun fairground rides for children\, providing plenty of entertainment for our younger visitors \nA true community event – Share the magic with family\, friends and neighbours as we come together to celebrate our vibrant community. \nSchedule\n\nGates open: 5:30pm\nWelcome speech: 6:15pm\nBonfire lit: 6:30pm\nFirst firework show: 7:15pm\nSecond firework show: 8:00pm\n\nImportant information\nWe would like to inform you in advance that there will be no on-site parking at the event location. DESCRIPTION:Years 7\, 8\, 9 Entrance Assessment\nSaturday 30th January 2027\, 8.30am – 12.30pm \nThe Entrance Assessment Day is for pupils looking to join Tettenhall College in Year 7\, 8 or 9 in September 2027. The Entrance Assessment will take place on Saturday 30th January 2027 and on this day pupils will spend a full morning with us at the school. \nIn groups they will complete the following: \n\nThe formal Entrance Assessment is completed in computer rooms and is an assessment delivered by Cambridge CEM (Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring). The assessments cover literacy\, numeracy and non-verbal reasoning.\nA handwritten creative writing task.\nA carousel of activities that have been carefully designed to allow us to assess teamwork\, listening to instructions\, and how children approach new challenges.\n\nFor assessments for a Sport\, Art\, Music or Performing Arts Scholarship Award\, pupils will be invited to attend an appointment in the week prior to\, or immediately after the Entrance Assessment. \nIf you are applying from overseas\, please speak to the Admissions team and we will be pleased to make arrangements for the Entrance Assessment to be completed in your home country. \nRegistration is essential.
