For this special performance\, he teams up with drummer and electronic artist Tim Davies to present a stunning collection of brand-new music. \nBiography: \nRalph crafts intricate yet deeply emotive music\, drawing inspiration from artists like Sting\, Bon Iver and Ben Howard. \nA finalist in BBC Young Jazz Musician (2020 and 2022)\, Ralph is the only guitarist to have reached this stage\, performing original compositions at Cadogan Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall\, both broadcast on BBC Four. DESCRIPTION:Years 7\, 8\, 9 Entrance Assessment\nSaturday 25th January 2025\, 8.30am – 12.30pm \nThe Entrance Assessment Day is for pupils looking to join Tettenhall College in Year 7\, 8 or 9 in September 2025. The Entrance Assessment will take place on Saturday 25th January and on this day pupils will spend a full morning with us at the school. \nIn groups they will complete the following: \n\nThe formal Entrance Assessment. This is done in the computer rooms and is an assessment delivered by Cambridge CEM (Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring). However\, there is parking available nearby in the village. To reach the venue\, you can enter through the main gates in Tettenhall Village and take a short stroll through the magical forest\, followed by a descent down a set of 48 unpaved\, steep steps. Please keep this in mind when planning your access\, especially with pushchairs and make sure to wear appropriate footwear. \nIf you or anyone you’re coming with has accessibility needs or needs a bit of extra help\, please reach out to us. We are delighted to announce that this year’s lecture will be given by Mr Tim Beech\, TC Governor\, parent\, radio presenter and local history enthusiast and Ms Penny Smith representing Friends of Wolverhampton Archives.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTim has done lots of work researching the history of Towers and has unearthed some terrific images of the building as it was during Lt. Col. Thorneycroft’s time. Penny has tremendous knowledge about Lt. Col. Whether you are looking for places in Nursery\, Preparatory School\, Senior School or Sixth Form\, our open days are a perfect way to come and see the school and our wonderful facilities. \nYou will be shown around by our pupils and there is plenty of opportunity for you and your child to interact with members of staff and find out more about the subjects and extra-curricular activities that we offer. \nThis will be an interactive day with a chance to try many hands-on experiences of life here at Tettenhall College. For our youngest visitors to our Nursery and Preparatory School there will be fun art attack sessions\, maths mastery\, a magical woodland trail\, creative writing workshops and much more. \nFor those pupils considering the significant move into Senior School and Sixth Form\, there will be a range of dynamic ‘taster’ lessons for children and parents to take part in together\, performing arts & music experiences\, hands on sports opportunities\, and a wealth of other activities which we hope will give a real sense of life with us here at Tettenhall College. \nIt’s very important that places are booked well in advance for this exciting event. DESCRIPTION:Tettenhall College Summer Camp is back!  \nMonday 22nd July – Friday 23rd August 2024\, 8.30am – 4.30pm \nLet your child embark on an unforgettable adventure this summer at Tettenhall College Summer Camp! Our camp offers a unique blend of excitement and learning for children aged 5-14 years old. \nSummer Camp provides children with a fun filled experience where they will take part in a range of activities. This includes sports which entails mini sports competitions using our excellent facilities\, scavenger hunts\, arts & crafts. performing arts in our beautiful Victorian theatre and launching this year is water safety skills where children will receive a Swim England certificate and/or a badge. This will take place in the schools onsite swimming pool. \nOur staff will ensure that children will have a memorable and enriching experience as there is something for every child to discover and enjoy. \nPrices: \n\n£46 per child per day\n£220 per week per child\n\nPlease note: childcare vouchers are accepted and lunch will be included. \nBook a place for your child/children by emailing adventurers@tettcoll.co.uk.
