Pupils from a Wolverhampton School raised
over £590 when they took part in a bag pack to raise
money for Sports Kit for schools in St Kitts.
The group of pupils from Tettenhall College in Wolverhampton
took part in the bag pack in the Perton branch of Sainsburys.
The money raised will be used to buy netball and cricket kit
to give to the schools on St Kitts when the pupils from Tettenhall
College visit the island next summer on a sports tour.
Tour organiser Clive kay said “ Tettenhall College
will be the first school to take a party of children on a
sports tour of St Kitts and we want to make it as special
for the children of the island as possible. The bag pack is
just one of many ways we are raising money to be able to say
thank you to the island for hosting the tour”.
