Activities
An impressive programme of sports and activities aims to encourage children to pursue their interests purposefully, to learn to use their leisure time constructively and to experience enjoyment and success.
Pupils are taught music throughout the Lower School. A wide variety of individual tuition is available and we have two choirs within the Lower School. Regular concerts allow opportunities for musicians to play for the pleasure of others.
Children produce work of a high standard in Art lessons using a variety of different media. This is complemented by workshops delivered by visiting Artists. An annual musical and the School's close links with the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton provide opportunities for children to express themselves on stage.
Children experience a wide variety of sports and there is a programme of fixtures against local schools. The main team games are Soccer, Rugby and Cricket for boys, Netball, Hockey and Rounders for girls. The P.E. programme delivers a further range of sports including swimming. All pupils have full use of the excellent facilities, including the Sports Hall, the indoor heated Swimming Pool and the playing fields.
